The Bees and Sea project programme is designed to educate on important environmental issues while providing  access to the performing arts. It has been designed to nurture the inquisitive mind, to invite questioning and self-exploration through drama, dance, singing and music. Exploring positivity and promoting positive health and well-being.
Don't Worry...Bee Happy is a musical tale that follows the busy life of Beatrice Bee and how her human friends can help her by planting more bee friendly flowers and herbs in their gardens and communities.

Imajica Theatre's ethos is to promote an ‘I can do it’ attitude and to actively engaged young people in learning. To have a positive impact on young people’s well-being, boost confidence, build resilience and develop communication and collaboration skills.

Interactive Themed Workshops

Imajica Theatre's workshop programme is designed to develop confidence while building connections with peer groups. To create a set of skills, that transpires into everyday life, building communication and self expression skills.
The workshops explore drama, dance and singing and include a warm up and lots of opportunity to gain lots of performing skills.

Building Skills

Our drama games will help pupils to develop strong performance . We explore characterisation, vocal projection, language, accents and body language.
In dance we develop an understanding of rhythm, self-expression and the confidence to move to the beat. We cover the importance of understanding music, and how to connect with an audience.
We offer vocal coaching and speech development, including the importance of breath control and facial placement in singing. We delve into the mechanics of storytelling and how to add character and personality to your work.

Performance Therapy

In our workshops include participant led activities, where young people work in groups, and individually, to explore personal expression and nurture an individual understanding of the performing arts.
Our community focused actors specialise in working consciously with young people to bring out each person’s potential and nurture both the individual and the group

Telling Stories Community  Projects

Tell Your Story

Tell your story is a project where we bring characters from our original productions into community spaces to tell their story through short 10 minute interactive workshops.
Each character will lead an interactive activity, designed to  engage young people in the arts. This  could be a song, a dance, or a creative activity.
Each session explores some of the environmental issues we are facing or focus on promoting a positive sense of well-being.
Characters can be placed in different locations and there is an option for audiences to be lead around by a interactive story guide. We can provide a workshop answer sheet to be completed by participants on their story walk to enhance the experience.
