A Winters Tale - Adventures in the Wobbly Wood

Little Hettie Hedgehog should be fast asleep hibernating till spring time but her rumbling tummy wakes her early

Her woodland friends, Old Oak, Jack Frost, Squirrel and Robbin show Hettie the beauty of the woodland at winter time. Together they journey to ask the wise Owl to help her to return to her slumber. All ends well and Hettie Hedgehog is soon tuck back up in her nest and sleep safely till spring arrives.

A winter’s Tale is the first in a series of adventures in the Wobbly wood.  Set in winter we explore friendship, kindness and support. A tale to share that us together we can problem solves and help our friends to achieve. With Lots of interaction the audience help Hettie get back to sleep and wake up bright eyed in the spring.

Imajica Theatre Companies education production of A Winters Tale' is specifically designed for Primary school children. In just one school day we can transform your school hall or venue into a mobile theatre, perform 2 shows and then return your hall as we found it.

Our interactive cast are always available for photo opportunities post performance and are happy to chat to our younger audiences who always like meeting the characters after the show.
A workshop includes games such as Forest & Castle- a drama game to build characterisation. Woodland Statues - musical statues, What does the Fox Say? - lean a  easy to follow choreography and While Walking in the woods- A Sing-a-long game with actions too - 'Lets pretend! - an interactive and imaginative drama game with songs and dance.
