Inclusive Relaxed Theatre for the Family friendly Audience
Imajica Theatre specialise in creating Relaxed Inclusive Theatre Experiences for the younger audience.We create original musical productions, immersive workshops & interactive musical storytelling. Our work is SEN friendly, we focus on positivity, environmental education alongside health and wellbeing. We work in schools, libraries & museums, with community groups, and run weekly classes. We also tour festivals & attending community events. We also run a youth theatre with weekly sessions in Letchworth and offer wellbeing Vocal Coaching that is empowering and sen friendly.
Earthchild Holistics
Performance Therapy & Holsitic Wellbeing
Earth Child Holistics is the wellbeing arm of Imajica Theatre focusing on integrating holistic therapy practices with performance therapy. We offer 1-2-1, group sessions and workshops that include breath work, medication, family yoga, NLP & self therapeutic treatments. We are currently working on a grant funded project to offer families access to a 6 week course in wellbeing practices.

Wild Soul Sisterhood
Empowering Women through the Arts
We offer 1-2-1 support, group session, weekly classes and monthly workshops in performing arts, performance therapy & holistic therapy practices. Wild Soul Sisterhood is the adult & maiden element of our work. We run weekly classes & workshops for women in dance, singing and holistic therapies. We are delighted to announce that we are introducing our safe space creative women's circles.

Our water-based friends love spending their days having amazing adventures in the Coral Cove. Passionate about their environment they have decided that it is time to clean up the seas & encourage their human friends to reduce, reuse & recycle more to make the world a better place for us all!

Captain Curly Kim inherited the Black Raspberry by default, never had she dreamed of being in charge of the Raggle Taggle Pirates. Brave and excited and not one to hide away from a challenge, she stows the anchor with her first mate Barnacle by her side. Let's sail away with this pair of sea-lovin pirates in search of hidden treasure!

Adventure awaits our friendly faeries who are granting wishes & sharing rainbow magic across the land of Imajica. Sitting under the oak tree is Raspberry Rainbow, nose buried in books wishing she could remember all her spells. While across the flowing brook is Dandelion the Wish faerie preparing for a busy day when a very special wish land in her wish book.

Smilin' Sam is busy getting everything ready for the annual Cactus Day celebration but things are not running smoothly. With so many of her cowhands gone off to join in the gold rush she really needs your help. With her best friend Sheriff Kimmy close at hand to help things run smoothly we can't wait to get the party started!

Ebony Flufkins, one of the Wobbly Woods resident squirrel is trying to get some sleep when she is woken by a snoring teddy lost out in the woods. Join our friends as they search the woods to make sure that Hartley Bear gets home and reunited with Peggy Sue in time for the Teddy Bears Picnic!

For each of our original Stories we offer
Relaxed Theatre Inclusive Musicals
Each of our interactive musical productions lasts 45mins to 1hr. Our hand painted sets & props transport audiences into the magical world of Imajica Theatre & our beautifully dressed characters specialise in engaging with with the younger audience.
By using parodies of pop songs we soon have audiences singing along & helping us on our adventure. We use BSL signing in our choreographies to support our non verbal & SEN audiences & we encourage our audience to copy along with us.

All of our productions can be performed in any medium to large indoor space, on stage provided by you or outdoor in our show marquee tent. We can work independently providing a full theatrical experience or with a technical stage & crew provided by you.
We offer up to 2 performance sittings in our show day experience package & offer a post-performance meet & greet plus cast photo opportunities.

Interactive Musical Storytelling Shows
Our musical storytelling shows are great for smaller spaces, outdoor events, fetes & festivals & can be either 30-45mins long.
Filled with singing, dancing and drama and led by 2 characters who re-tell our stories and encourage young people to become actively involved throughout.

We provide a small PA system or can work with one provided by you. We can on request work with our portable rechargeable PA speaker in areas with limited access to electricity.
We can offer up to 3 storytelling shows in a Story experience day & we have a smaller portable set trolly with our props we use to set the scene.

Outreach Workshop Programmes
Our workshop programme includes lots of opportunities to sing, dance and get involved. With vocal training & sing-alongs, easy to follow dance routines & lots of opportunity for young people to get into character.
Our actors specialise in child-led activities, working to bring out their creative best. We create happy spaces where young people can be free to explore and discover the artists in themselves.

Alongside access to high quality performing arts training, we also focus on the instilling a positive sense of health and wellbeing of the workshop participants.
We promote positivity & a you can do it attitude, ensuring that our content is age appropriate, stimulating & engaging.
Our workshop are designed to be SEN friendly and our actors use BSL in their dances and songs as well as clear age appropriate language.

A Relaxed & Interactive Musical Theatre performance is a fantastic option for the younger family friendly & SEN audience, Imajica Theatre specialise in creating wonderful interactive production's that ignite the imaginative mind and take audiences into magical words where anything is possible.
So what is Relaxed Theatre?
Audiences watching our shows will benefit from soft house lighting throughout the performance, lower sound levels for more sensitive ears and a relaxed attitude to noise and movement during the performance. What is an Immersive Theatre Performance?
Immersive theatre removes the barriers from stage to audience, we actively encourage audiences to participate and get involved by asking the audience questions, inviting you to sing along and join in our easy to follow dance routines. All of our performances include elements of audience participation.
Written with the younger audience in mind
Imajica Theatre productions are filled with friendly characters, dressed in beautiful costuming. By using positive language, delivered in age-appropriate way we connect and engages with audiences of all ages.
A Multi-sensory approach to Theatre
Those with additional sensory processing needs are welcome to all of our shows and we are currently working on introducing BSL (British sign language) elements and the use of an Interpreter into our performances.
Theatre in Education Workshop Programme
We offer an exciting workshop programme themed to each of our productions to explore topics covered in more detail. Our cross curriculum delivery supports key stage 1 and 2 of the national curriculum and we are Artsmark partners too so can help you along this journey.
